Erisa's in-game portrait
Erisa is one of the characters in Pyre. She was once a member of the Nightwings.
History[]
In the Commonwealth, Erisa was an apprentice blacksmith. Her brother died on the Bloodborder, causing her father to grow abusive towards her. One day, Erisa could not bear the abuse any longer and killed her father. She was then branded for the crime of patricide and exiled to the Downside.
In the Downside, Erisa became a part of the Nightwings, along Brighton and Oralech. Later, Brighton was liberated, and Volfred joined the Nightwings. Erisa harboured a great resentment towards the Commonwealth, and wanted freedom so she could join the Highwing Remnants and help them destroy the nation.
When Oralech was about to be liberated, Erisa pushed him off Mount Alodiel and tried to take his place in an act of desperation. However, she died in the Shimmer-Pool because she was not the one rightfully anointed. After this, Volfred disbanded the Nightwings, and no new Liberation Rites could take place until they were revived.
